"I never knew folks like this existed any more! We arrived at the home of a family member where we were to freshen up before going to the Georgia Dome; however, they had already left because we ran a bit late. TC came, introduced herself, and had us follow her a few miles to her home. She gave us full access to her master bedroom and bath. We retired downstairs to a well prepared delicious meal, and we were on our way.” Amazing!!
Thanks, TC! PJM, NY
“Unbelievable! Tathline is family. I was stricken with Non-Hodgkin’s Cancer a few years ago at the same time, Tathline was having one of her many surgeries. I remember I was in pain that day, and she called to see how I was doing. I told her I was in pain and there was no food in the house, so I can’t take the pain killers without having something to eat. I could hear it in her voice that she was not feeling well either, and she was also in pain. An hour and twenty minutes after we spoke, she called back to say she was outside, and I needed to open the garage door. To my surprise, she opened up her van back and out came bags and bags and more bags of food. I watched total disbelief as she placed them in front of the pantry door, stood up, and said, “if I tell you I have the energy to move one item into this pantry, I would be lying.” With a big grin on her face, she fixed me something to eat, gave me my meds, made me very comfortable on the sofa with everything I needed. When I asked if she was going to stay awhile, she said, “girl, the Lord only gave me 5 cents worth of energy, and if I stay for a minute, someone is gonna have to come to get me!” She left, ensuring the door was securely closed behind her. It wasn’t until my daughters came home that I realized the number of items she left – all the necessary food items every household needed, personal care, and household goods. When I called to say thank you, her hubby told me she was exhausted, in pain, and could not speak on the phone. TC and her organization have been helpful to my family every time the need arises.
Thanks.

“We were a family of five, and no one in the household was working. We didn’t even have food. I was talking to a friend of mine in Florida; she gave me TC’s number. I called her up and found out she lived just a few miles from me in the Snellville area. To my surprise, after just one brief conversation, she came, picked me up, and we were on our way to Walmart. She told me to pick up the items I needed and not to worry about paying it back. She said, “as long as you help someone else when you can, you have paid me back.” TC has been a part of my family since that day. Every time we are down, she has been there to see us through. When my husband was sick, she was always there for all his emergencies and stayed with him until help arrived. She even kept him at her house for a whole week so that I could see my way. And when my husband died, she was there to comfort through the long nights.”
Thank you so much!

From the moment Mrs. Dillard reached out to your organization to help us, you never left my side. I was down and not able to provide for my kids, but Your Unique Beginning was always there for us with food, furniture, clothes, diapers, and so much more. With a warm heart and helping hands, they are still helping others; for this, I will always be grateful! You left an enormous footprint on our lives. I appreciate all you did for us.

When I had my stroke and unable to drive, Your Unique Beginning Community Services stepped in and took me to Physical Therapy three days per week. They showed up on time, and when my therapy was over, they picked me up on time. If I wanted to make pit stops to the pharmacy, supermarket, they made sure I got everything I need before taking me home. We got a kick out of calling them “Our Uber.” So every time they came to pick me up, they would knock on the door and say, “your personal Uber is here!” outside of my Physical Therapy schedule if I needed to go somewhere else, I call, and they always show up. They are a fantastic organization, and it was an absolute pleasure to receive their service. Thank you, Your Unique Beginning; you are AWESOME!!
